Based in San Luis Obispo, James Barkman is an explorer at heart. His photography began as a natural extension of his fascination with the intersection of the human spirit and the natural world. That curiosity has taken him across the globe, from the Arctic Circle to Afghanistan, on both personal expeditions and commissioned assignments with leading names in the outdoor space.

What sets James apart is his commitment to genuine adventure. His work reflects that honesty, shaped by experience, risk, and a deep respect for the places and people he documents.

Ridge Benben

Ridge is a coastal photographer from and based out of Dana Point, California. His approach to photography is to capture and to keep interaction with as minimal as possible. Ridge’ style is reflective of his approach producing clean, center focused style. His colors are true to the moment, guided more by feeling than formula. You’ll find coastlines, portraits, and quiet details, all photographed with a kind of restraint that lets the viewer fill in the rest. The result is grounded and spacious.

Charlie Hoberman

Growing up near the coast, Charlie Hoberman has spent a majority of his life capturing the ever-changing sea, surfing, and all things water. After nearly a decade of shooting in the water, Charlie found inspiration on land, documenting the rawness of human life. This pivot in his creative journey opened up a world of inspiration through analog photography; playing with various formats and evolving his practice in the darkroom, processing and printing at home.
